How to turn Shopify products into Instagram content
A practical way to go from a product page to a week of posts without rewriting the catalog by hand.
Start from the page, not a blank caption box
A product page already has the only facts a caption should use: the name, the price, a photo, and whatever the description actually says. If a sentence isn’t on that page, it doesn’t belong in the post. Invented benefits, fake reviews, and made-up discounts are how product accounts start to look cheap.
Pull a small set first. Twelve products is enough for a month if you rotate them. You do not need a post for every SKU in the first week.
One product, several jobs
The same photo can be a hero shot, a detail, a short explanation, and — only if you have a real offer — a promotion. Those are different posts. Repeating the identical square with a new caption is what makes a feed look inactive even when it isn’t.
A Reel does not have to be a trend. A three-beat sequence works: the product in the first second, one fact from the description, then the name and the site. Skip music you don’t have rights to.
Publish on a pace you can keep
For most stores, one strong photo a day beats seven rushed ones. Add Reels when you have a sequence, not because a guru said daily video. Stories are for the thing that is true this week: a restock, a color, a shipping note.
When the catalog changes, the queue should change with it. A post for a sold-out product is worse than a quiet day.
