Instagram content ideas for online stores
A mix you can repeat without posting the same product photo seven ways.
A week that doesn’t repeat itself
Monday, the product large and quiet. Tuesday, one fact from the description — materials, fit, what it’s for. Wednesday, a Reel that is just the product arriving in frame, a line of text, and the name. Thursday, a closer crop. Friday, something about the brand that is true: where it’s made, how it ships, who it’s for. Weekend, an offer only if an offer exists.
The following week, change the crop and the type treatment. Don’t change the facts.
Ideas that stay honest
Comparisons work when both products are yours and the difference is visible. FAQs work when customers actually ask them. “Three reasons” works when the reasons are on the product page. Memes work rarely, and only if they sound like the person who runs the store.
Social proof needs a real review you have permission to use. If you don’t have one, don’t fake a quote.
What to look at after a month
Which products never appeared. Which format you keep skipping because it’s annoying to make — that’s the one to simplify, not abandon. Which posts the account actually saved or shared, once insights are connected. Until those numbers exist, don’t declare a winner from a feeling.
